The Housing Bust Was Much Worse Than Previously Known: The NAR Inflated Home Sales From 2007-2011, And Many Americans Can't Qualify For A Mortgage
The National Association of Realtors is due to drastically revise downward its home sales data this week. The NAR didn't collect actual data: they were estimating sales. And news entities all over the US, including in C'ville, faithfully reported the numbers as fact. As for locals being able to qualify for mortgages? One in five area families can't pay their bills.
